I visited this practice to explore treatment options for facial redness and pigmentation and some scarring along hairline behibd ears, noting a strong positive prior response to Vbeam treatments.
During the consultation, I disclosed a history of localized, well-managed keloid scarring in a separate area, which is not visible and not a concern. Initially, the RN indicated no keloid presence, but later declined Vbeam treatment, citing a generalized risk of keloid formation — without providing a clear or clinically supported explanation, particularly as it relates to facial treatment.
The discussion lacked clarity and clinical grounding, and at times shifted to topics not relevant to my concerns. Overall, I did not feel my case was thoughtfully assessed or addressed with an evidence-based approach.
